Ming Chi University of Technology has implemented the ISO 50001 Energy Management System through a series of processes, including the preparation of ISO documentation, internal liaison personnel training, internal certification, internal audit training, energy use analysis, energy consumption data collection, and equipment control and analysis.

From September 2 to September 3, 2024, GPTEK Technology, the consulting company for this project, was commissioned to plan the verification process to achieve certification under the ISO 50001:2018 international standards by BellCERT International Inspection and Certification Group. The two-day verification process was successfully completed, establishing energy-saving management mechanisms across all university units.

This aligns with the school's sustainable development vision, emphasizing continuous implementation of energy-saving and carbon reduction measures to support global sustainability goals.
