In the second phase of the Sustainable Green University for the Second Semester of the 112th Academic Year-SDGs 12 Green Consumption Education Seminar, we are honored to have invited Mr. Wu, the chairman of the Hsinchu Floral Design Association, to conduct an eco-friendly floral art workshop. Through this activity, we aim to explore how the practice of eco-friendly floral art can promote the application of sustainable development principles in the field of floral design.

During the event, sustainable development will emphasize the careful selection of locally sourced floral materials, with the intention of reducing carbon emissions associated with long-distance transportation. Furthermore, renewable and recyclable wooden floral containers will be utilized to minimize ecological impact. Such design considerations not only serve as practical demonstrations but also underscore the importance of integrating environmental values into floral design.

Through this activity, participants will have the opportunity to engage in eco-friendly floral art practices and gain a deeper understanding of the principles of sustainable development. This not only reflects the commitment of the event to environmental education but also provides a valuable learning opportunity with both academic and practical significance for future floral designers and related professionals.
